SAP Business One 9.1 includes several enhancements to finance, manufacturing, distribution reporting and administration. Some of the smaller enhancements in new versions are often overlooked but can be of great benefit to users.
Some of the minor and often overlooked enhancements in SAP Business One 9.1 include:
SAP Business One 9.1 – Email sending – SAP Business One 9.1 includes several enhancements to email sending functionality including the ability to define a group of business partners to an email group. This email group can be used as part of a distribution list. Users can now automatically create and send PDF’s by mail when adding a document (AR invoice / PO / remittance etc.).
SAP Business One 9.1 – Copy and paste documents rows from MS Excel – newly enhanced copy and paste from Excel functionality allows users to copy transaction rows from MS Excel. Finance managers who love using MS Excel to create journals can now create the journal entry in MS Excel and can then cut and paste from MS Excel directly into journal entry in SAP Business One 9.1. This new functionality is not only restricted to journal entry – sales and purchasing documents will also accept a “cut and paste” from MS Excel.
SAP Business One – Configurable User Interface – new customisation tools allow changes to the user interface on commonly used windows using customizable templates. Users can now hide fields and tabs, change the location of specific fields on the user interface and change the window layout to suite user and company specific needs. Windows which can be customised in SAP Business One 9.1 include –
